Description of the planned activity:
The planned activity includes preparation of the extraction site, extraction of mineral resources, processing of the extracted materials, and reclamation of the worked-out excavation areas. Quarry preparation works and extraction of mineral resources are planned to be carried out using specialized equipment. The extraction volume and intensity will depend on regional material demand, but on average up to 100,000 m³ of mineral resources are planned to be extracted annually.

During the initial public consultation, the public will be informed about the planned activity. The assessment of the planned activity—such as the impact on natural values, landscape impact, predicted changes in noise levels, etc.—will be prepared after the initial public consultation, in accordance with the program issued by the Energy and Environmental Agency. After the assessment is completed, another public consultation will be organized to present the assessment results to the public.

The initial public consultation takes place from 19 November 2025 to 7 January 2026, while the in-person meeting will be held on 10 December 2025 at 14:00 at Oktobra iela 2a, Tabore, Tabore Parish, Augšdaugava Municipality. It will also be possible to join the meeting online.

Starting from 19 November, the public can obtain information about the planned activity and review the prepared materials during working hours at Oktobra iela 2a, Tabore, and on the website of Augšdaugava Municipality and on the website of MDPG.
