Initial environmental impact assessment
If the activity is defined in Annex 2 to the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment, an application regarding the intended activity shall be submitted to the appropriate regional environmental board of the SES, which shall assess the possible environmental impacts in accordance with the criteria and decide whether or not to apply the environmental impact assessment procedure. If the environmental impact assessment procedure is not applied, technical provisions shall be issued.
After the Decision on the application of the EIA procedure is made, the following actions shall be taken:
- Initial public discussion
- Receipt of the EIA program
- Preparation of the environmental impact assessment report
- Public discussion of the report
- Receipt of the opinion on the report (ESB) and acceptance of the intended activity (local government or Cabinet of Ministers) (numbering can be created by using an interesting design)
